เครื่องของเรากำลังบินผ่านกลุ่มเมฆ สักครู่นักบินก็ประกาศว่าเพราะสภาพอากาศ
เลวร้ายเครื่องบินอาจจะตกหลุมอากาศ แต่ไม่ต้องตกใจ ถึงจะอย่างนั้นระหว่างบินดิฉัน
ก็ไม่ค่อยกลัวนัก จึงเอนหลังและหลับตาทันใดนั้น ข้อพระคัมภีร์ที่อ่านวันนี้ก็ดัง
ก้องอยู่ในหูทำให้ดิฉันรู้สึกแปลกๆ ใช่แล้วเป็นเพราะพระเจ้าทรงประทับอยู่ด้วยนั่นเองทำให้รู้สึกสบายใจและมีชีวิตชีวา
ดิฉันเริ่มคิดถึงนักบินที่ตื่นอยู่ขณะที่ผู้โดยสารพากันหลับใหลและขับเครื่องบิน
ด้วยความระมัดระวัง เราวางใจได้เพราะพระบิดาผู้สถิตในสวรรค์ผู้ทรงสร้างของเรา
และนักบินทั่วโลกไม่ทรงหลับสนิทหรือนิทรา (ดูสดุดี121:4)
พระเจ้าไม่มีความกลัว ถ้าเราถวายตัวไว้ในพระหัตถ์ พระองค์จะทรงนำเราอย่าง
ซื่อสัตย์ แม้เมื่อเราไม่มั่นใจว่ามีอะไรอยู่ข้างหน้า ดิฉันขอบคุณพระเจ้าสำหรับพระวจนะ
และพระเนตรของพระองค์ที่ทรงดูแลเราให้เดินทางจนถึงสุดปลายของชีวิต

Our plane was gliding over patches of clouds. After a little while, the crew announced that because of weather, the flight might be bumpy, but there was no reason to panic. However, I had never been so scared during a flight. I leaned back and closed my eyes."
Suddenly, today’s verse echoed in my ear, and I felt something different. Ah! It is God’s presence! It was so different, so comforting and lively.
I started thinking about the pilot who was awake while the passengers were sleeping. He was alert and controlling the aircraft.
Our heavenly Father, Creator and Pilot of the whole universe, never sleeps nor slumbers. We can lean on God without fear. If we surrender ourselves to God’s hands, God will faithfully lead us even when we are not sure of the path ahead. I am thankful for God’s word and for God’s eyes upon each of us until the end of our life journeys.
